November Quest-All About Beavers!

This year, November's full moon falls on November 30th. Traditionally, Native Americans called the full moon this month the "Beaver Moon." This time of year, beavers are sheltering in their lodges with the food they've stored up for the winter!

To celebrate the Beaver Moon, this month's Nature Swap Quest is all about beavers! To earn 5000 points, send a photo of your beaver art or craft to natureswap@rwpzoo.org. This can be a drawing, a nature craft...whatever you enjoy most! Bonus points will be awarded for any beaver facts you learn and send along with your photo.
