This month, shift your nature focus to the nighttime sky. There is so much to observe after the sun goes down. The moon goes through its many phases, and it has a major impact on the plants and animals living here on Earth. Some animals navigate at night using the moon. The ocean tides are also affected by the moon.

For 5,000 points this month, track the phases of the moon during May. Draw what you see (or you can take a photo), label each phase and the date you saw it, and share three things you notice or learned about the moon.
